Here comes the son

It is the plane ahead radioing the plan behind with updates that keeps things in the air on a safe course. This sort of passing along of information gives the next pilot the chance to make the best decisions. In the book "To Own A Dragon" by Donald Miller he notes this activity in light of relationships, father to son, generation to generation. What a gift to be able to have a radio signal coming to your ears with vital information and having the ability to receive and apply it.

flounder on the rocks

Some days it seems hard to breathe with the weight of life upon the shoulders. It is with confidence that I need to allow myself to be loved and to know that I can make it through.
I ready in the book "Blue like Jazz" by Donald Miller and he speaks about the idea that if one does not love themselves then they cannot love in return.
Love your neighbor as you love yourself.
Powerful stuff that can move mountains. A selfish sounding place to gain the means to truly love others.
